See Design Studio collaborated with architects Donaldson Boshard and interior designers Rezen studio on this unique upgrade to the existing building situated at 190 St Georges Terrace.

Fiveight made a conscious decision to optimise sustainability and decrease the carbon footprint for the new-look tower. This has partly been achieved by redesigning the existing OneNinety building to provide modern amenity in place of demolishing it.

Key to the overall design is the “Living Laneway”, a string of curated experiences extending from the St Georges Terrace point of entry, through the activated lobby to a sheltered urban courtyard beyond and connection to Hay Street.

The courtyard which floats atop of a former carpark, offers respite from the bustling noise and energy of the terrace with abundant landscaping and options for sitting, eating or simply relaxing outdoors.

This flexible space is home to cafè and all-day dining destination, COPIA, as well as servicing the buildings tenancies.
