A residential apartment development in Subiaco, Perth, Elysian will provide the community with new public amenity. A parklet is proposed to replace two car bays on Duke St to create a vibrant and enticing public amenity for the community. The form of the parklet plays on the arch forms found in the facade of Doyle Court, a heri- tage listed building on Rokeby Road that has inspired the proposed architecture for Rokeby & Duke. Rokeby Road is a vibrant and popular place for locals and visitors to meet. The parklet will provide placemaking and positive urban design gains.

See Design Studio have also designed a greening strategy and gardens for the laneway behind Elysian. A series of green outdoor living spaces for the individual apartments will integrate seamlessly with the architecture. Climbing and cascading plants have been used throughout the site to maximise the benefit of planting in compact spaces.
