Seedesign Studio are currently engaged by AMPC and Multiplex to undertake the design, project management of the Karrinyup Shipping Centre Development Redevelopment project.

The design plays on the Australian suburban backyard with garden elements such as the Hills Hoist and the garden hose abstracted to create the structure of the public realm. Plant species and material have been chosen to reference a residential garden with a coastal feel.

The design features different character zones which perform a range of functions. The West Deck, the hospitality precinct is centred around a large dynamic water feature. Connected through a laneway, is a new adventure playground with integrated natural elements.

This exciting new project is due for completion in 2021.
