Coogee Hotel - Construction is underway

Seedesign Studio recently had a morning on site at Coogee Commons to check out the construction progress. It’s exciting to see this beautiful historic project coming to life. The gardens are flourishing under the careful care of the onsite horticulturalist, while structural elements like the arbour are really taking shape. The garden is already producing a bountiful weekly harvest of fruit and vegetables for local restaurant Bread in Common. Mature tree transplants including olives, citrus and a sixty year old fig tree are tying in beautifully with the heritage context.

Stage two, the further terracing of the gardens, is currently being constructed and the final stage of works is scheduled to be built in November.

The heritage Coogee Hotel at the centre of this exciting new project is currently being restored and rebuilt by Fremantly architects Space Agency. We are so excited to see this landmark project progressing so well.
