Ocean Village

Ocean Village will be a new neighborhood centre in City Beach. Welcoming public open spaces are central to the development, with extensive green plazas, a playground, dense urban tree canopy planting and alfresco dining spaces all working together to create a vibrant community.

City Beach is structured around a garden city plan, with a network of green spines that weave throughout the residential area. Ocean Village celebrates this unique local character with the landscape blending seamlessly into the existing network of local parks.

Existing mature tuart trees have been retained and protected for habitat and reducing urban heat effect in summer. Almost three times the required amount of deep soil zone has been achieved on the site which will result in a lush canopy of trees.

The landscape extends to roof terraces with high quality green spaces for the buildings residents.

The palette of plants and materials are inspired by the forms and textures of the nearby coastal landscape.
