See Design Studio have been working with Rocky Bay and Hames Sharley to design WA’s first integrated disability, health and community services facility.

Services planned for the space include pediatric therapy and inclusive early learning services. Multi-disciplinary therapy will also be a feature, including hydrotherapy, and the facility will offer sector specific training, skills development opportunities and community access programs.

The landscape wraps proposed facility buildings with a skin of ‘green’ - continually connecting people to garden spaces as they transition through the site.

Amenities within the public and private realms include a campus-styled lawn space, alfresco seating, a large koi pond, water features, a production garden, kids play spaces and arbors that connect the various spaces through green links.

Substantial numbers of trees will be retained and protected, with the street frontage improved through landscape works. These works include swales, pedestrian paths, pause points and extensive regenerative plantings.
